Castrol Casmar

User Experience Design for a B2B Commerce Platform

Purpose

To redesign the structure of Casmar , Castrol’s B2B automotive spare parts e-commerce platform for auto repair shops and mechanics, with the aim of increasing active user numbers and sales revenue.

Castrol Casmar

Challenge

Established user habits shaped by competitor platforms frequently used by the target audience.

Solution

To identify target audience behaviors and conduct a comprehensive competitor analysis, we carried out user interviews and on-site observation studies across auto industrial zones in Istanbul.

Based on these insights, we designed an improved

structure with enhanced usability,

supported by a refined information

architecture, clear user flows,

and a stronger visual language.

Outputs

Users can now easily find the products they are looking for, manage their orders more efficiently and follow Castrol's campaigns without leaving the order page.

Result

Within six months of the launch of the first version of the renewed platform, sales increased by 80%.

Field surveys revealed that users found the new structure both functional and user-friendly .

The design and user experience improvements transformed Casmar into a powerful tool that supports both user satisfaction and business objectives.
